Games with a run to chase

The other half of Zamborin. These ones keep score: levels to work through, stars to earn back, and a puzzle that changes every day. Still free, still no account, still nothing you can break by putting it down for a month.

Comb
Fit clusters of hexagons into a honeycomb until every cell is filled. A hundred levels, three stars each, and one puzzle a day that everybody gets.

What is different about these

The games on the main page promise no timers, no streaks and nothing to lose, and they keep that promise. The ones here do not make it. They have a level map, they remember how well you did, and they count the days you come back. That is a different kind of pleasure and it deserved its own shelf rather than being mixed in with the calm ones.

What has not changed is the rest of it. Nothing is timed against a clock you cannot see, nothing is sold to you mid-puzzle, and no level is put in front of you that cannot be solved. Every board is built by taking a finished one apart, so a solution always exists, and the difficulty of each tier was measured rather than guessed.
